The host community insists that the former Vice Chancellor’s ousting was unjustified, citing his significant contributions to the university’s advancements, including the establishment of new faculties.
Furthermore, they argue that Plateau State University, under Professor Bernard Matur’s leadership, has achieved notable successes, making his removal unwarranted.
Calling on the governor to reconsider his decision, they urge for the reinstatement of the former Vice Chancellor to ensure continuity of his commendable efforts, stressing that the university cannot afford further setbacks after enduring significant challenges since its inception.
