Curfew Eased, Jos-Bukuru Residents Can Move Between 2pm-6pm

The Plateau State government has announced a relaxation of the 24-hour curfew imposed on Jos-Bukuru. Residents can now move freely between 2 pm and 6 pm daily, starting from Wednesday, August 7.

Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang said the decision follows improved security in the area and consultations with security agencies. He praised security personnel for their work and urged residents to remain vigilant.

The governor stressed that the curfew could be reimposed if the situation deteriorates. He thanked residents for their cooperation during the curfew and urged them to continue supporting security efforts.
