Hubs In Plateau State To Collaborate On Startup Innovations

The News: nHub in collaboration with the Innovation Support Network Hubs (ISN Hubs), on Thursday, August 3, hosted the Plateau State meet-up, an event geared toward creating a platform for Hubs and other ecosystem stakeholders to share. experiences. network, learn and collaborate to drive innovation in Plateau State.

Why it matters:  “Hubs are critical to driving innovation and social impact, as they provide innovators in communities with access to infrastructure, skills, knowledge, and resources,” according to Moyinoluwa Joseph, Acting Executive Secretary at ISN Hubs. 

She added that the ISN Hubs is a network of over 140 hubs across Nigeria. The organization provides support to hubs through quality advocacy, capacity building, and linkage to resources. 

What Now: In recent years, Plateau State has seen a significant increase in indigenous technology hubs. 

These hubs aim to support startups and contribute to Nigeria’s technology sector. The recent meeting brought together stakeholders and innovators to develop collaborative strategies and a roadmap for enhancing innovation, addressing challenges in the state, and promoting small businesses.
