News Room 12 months ago 0 105

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced plans to hold new elections in 18 polling units within Jos North.

Oliver Agundu, the Resident Electoral Commissioner for Plateau, cited a shortage of ballot papers during the district’s Saturday rerun as the reason behind this decision.

Agundu stated that the commission is actively probing the cause of the ballot paper shortfall. Of the affected units, 15 are located in Tudun Wada/Kabong ward, with the remaining three in Naraguta B, both situated in Jos North.

According to Agundu, the elections in these locations will be held tomorrow.
