LinkedIn Local Jos’ Inaugural Event Set for Tomorrow at UNIJOS

The biggest offline LinkedIn event in the north-central region of Nigeria has ever seen is set to happen tomorrow.

With more than three editions conducted in Lagos, as well as events hosted by locals in Abuja, Kano, Oyo, Owerri, and Ondo states amongst others. Jos is set to host its very first edition of Linkedin local Jos with the theme “Bridging the gap between education and employment”. 

Having successfully bridged the gap between the virtual and physical space, Linkedin local Jos will take place on Wednesday 25th of October, 2023 at the Social Sciences Hall (Red Chamber) situated within the Naraguta Campus, University of Jos on Wednesday from 8 am to 3 pm. 

LinkedIn local Jos like every other around the world is an organic physical meetup set up by some of the 950 million LinkedIn users situated within the city of Jos, Plateau State Nigeria for the sole purpose of networking by building a community where industry trends and in-app global best practices are discussed and deliberated on for the aim of fully utilizing and benefiting from the 26.3 billion worth dollar platform that prides itself as being the worlds foremost Social corporate platform. One where professionals, entrepreneurs, and individuals from varying fields of expertise connect beyond the boundaries of time and space to learn and exchange ideas and experiences as well as opportunities that have kept increasing since the official launch of the platform on 5 May 2003.

LinkedIn Local Jos, true to its theme, is targeted to educate over a thousand individuals on the importance of cultivating digital skills and the significance of networking in the world’s biggest digital job market for optimal productivity in a world where traditional knowledge and a degree are no longer sure paths to successful and fulfilled careers.
