Yusuf Gagdi Emerges Victorious in National Assembly Re-election Bid with a Landslide Win

Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam constituency has once again voted overwhelmingly for their representative in the National Assembly as Yusuf Gagdi of the All Progressives Congress (APC) emerged victorious in the just-concluded election.

The Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) Returning Officer, Ikoni Ogaji, announced the results on Monday in Pankshin, Plateau, stating that Gagdi secured a total of 78,585 votes, defeating his closest opponent, Mr Chrisantus Ziphion of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who scored 47,105 votes. Mr Abbas Wokdung of the Labour Party (LP) polled 18,952 votes .

In a moment of gratitude and humility, Gagdi thanked the people of his constituency for their unwavering support and trust in him to serve them for another term. He promised to consolidate on the developmental strides he has already achieved in the area and to dedicate more time and resources to provide quality representation and dividends of democracy to the people.
