Sylvanus Namang, the publicity secretary of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Plateau state chapter was killed by gunmen in Pankshin local government area of the state on Saturday evening.
According to reports, Namang who was in Pankshin for a burial went to nearby shop to purchase so items where he met his death. The owner of the shop, Sunny Best was also killed in the attack which is alleged to be carried out by armed robbers.
The Plateau state police command is yet to comment on his demise.
